"What You Always Wanted to Know about Ancient Medicine, but Never Dared to Ask" - An Interactive Lecture by Rydell Visiting Professor Dr. Helen King

Everyone has a body and, at some point, that body will be in need of medical care. Ideas about what care to offer have, however, changed many times in history. Professor Helen King is one of the world's leading scholars on ancient Greek and Roman medicine and its reception in the modern world. Bring your questions about any aspect of medicine in the Greek and Roman worlds, and Professor King will attempt to answer them. Theories, treatments, doctors and patients will all be covered in this lecture in which you are asked to set the agenda!
