Announcement: Five Gustavus musicians to play three Sunday services

Five Gustavus musicians (Emeritus Professor David Fienen-organ, Research Professor Mark Lammers-trombone, Jack Graber '53-trumpet, Tom Giles-trumpet (former Music faculty), and David Schultz-horn (also former Music faculty)) will play for Sunday morning services at three Minnesota churches during June. On June 14th they will play at Centenary United Methodist in Mankato, on June 21st at House of Prayer Lutheran in Richfield, and on June 28th at Mount Calvary Lutheran in Excelsior. They will play music for organ and brass by Flor Peeters, Johannes Pezel, Vaclav Nelhybel, Benedetto Marcello, and an arrangement of an organ chorale prelude by Johannes Brahms (his last composition). The group previously played for the Easter Sunday services at First Lutheran in St. Peter.
