Composting with Redworms Linnaeus Arboretum Interpretive Center

Got worms?    Did you know a pound of redworms can eat a couple pounds of food scraps every week?  Take composting to a whole new level by letting red worms eat your garbage right in your own home.    We'll teach you everything you need to know to give worm composting a try.  Get rid of food scraps, make your own plant fertilizer, and have a constant source of fishing bait too.  Program is mostly for adults, but kids are welcome too.  Free for Arboretum Members and Gustie students.  Cost is $1 per person for non-members (payable at the door).  Registration is required by calling 507-933-6184 at least 24 hours before the program.
