Description

"What's Next?"

This is the question on many of our minds as we consider some of the next steps of our lives: How do I build my network? How will I know if I fit well with a company's culture? What do I need to know before buying a house? How do I begin to plan of life after the hill? The Alumni & Parent Engagement Office, the Career Development Office and your class officers are joining together to help you discover some possible answers to those questions at our first annual "What's Next Conference" on Saturday, April 9th from 10 a.m. " 7 p.m. at the Sheraton Bloomington. This event is FREE for all members of the class of 2016.

The day will include lunch and a networking happy hour with Twin Cities' young alumni, and we will kick off our day with a keynote presentation by Gustie grad Esther Mulder, who will share her story of her journey from foster care to Harvard Law School. Following the keynote address, there will be a variety of breakout sessions, ranging from topic specific lectures to panels of alumni excited to share their successes, failures and advice in various career fields. Come join us for a day of helpful information, inspirational Gusties, and of course, free food!
