10:30 a.m. social, 11:00 a.m. picnic lunch
1:00 p.m. football game vs. Wheaton College
Gustavus alumni, parents, and friends are invited to share their Gustie friendships and spirit when the Gustavus football team opens its season September 11 traveling to Chicago to play Wheaton College. A pre-game picnic lunch is planned at the home of Mike and Marcia Bomgren Bussey '69 '71, 202 East Farnham Lane, Wheaton, just five minutes by car from the Wheaton campus. Head Coach Jay Schoenebeck '80 will give a team update at 11:00 a.m., and President Jim Peterson '64, Alumni Director Randall Stuckey '83, and Advancement Officer Philip Hood will be present to welcome you and bring you an update about the College. Cost is $10 per person for the picnic; game tickets may be purchased at the gate. Be sure to wear your Gustie apparel!
