Board Workshop and Panel Discussion

The Governance Group of the Board of Trustees is looking forward to hosting a workshop and panel discussion for faculty, board members, and senior staff to discuss the importance of shared responsibility, accountability, and governance. ALL faculty are invited to join in this discussion, beginning with a dinner at 6 p.m., followed by the workshop and panel discussion starting at 7:15 p.m.
The evening will feature the presidents of two of our ELCA colleges, Jay Lemons from Susquehanna and Steven Bahls from Augustana, Rock Island. Also on the program will be Signe Gates, the Vice Chair of Susquehanna's Board of Trustees, as well as Larry Shinn, President Emeritus of Berea College, who served in academic leadership roles at other outstanding liberal arts colleges before moving to Berea. The workshop will focus on the importance of shared responsibility, accountability, and governance from presidential, board, and faculty perspectives. ALL faculty are invited to both the dinner and the workshop.
