Description

The Center for Academic Resources and Enhancement (CARE) is currently looking for students interested in becoming a PAC beginning Spring 2018. Peer Academic Coaches meet with students to coach them in four-year planning, study skills, organization or time management skills. Peer Accessibility Coaches meet with students to assist them with accessible technology resources including audio books, text-to-speech readers, Smart Pens and more.

Student employees in CARE provide general and confidential office support including front desk and phone reception, appointment scheduling, routine tasks, and assigned projects. Additionally it is expected an employee would train into a specialty area such as a PAC or an independently-designed position. CARE seeks to help students create and maximize their personal employment experience using individual values and strengths. CARE offers reasonable accommodations to qualified individuals with disabilities who require and request accommodations in order to perform work in this office.
