Join us for a discussion forum following a special showing of American Sniper. Synopsis: The film follows US Marine Chris Kyle's experience through multiple tours through the Iraq War and how he came to be recognized as one of the most lethal snipers in history. Following its release and spiked controversy around the film, the discussion will cover various topics for students to talk about and share what they thought of the film. Topics will cover: Islamaphobia, Historical accuracy, Military PTSD, among other topics to be brought up. THERE WILL BE FREE PIZZA FOLLOWING THE MOVIE. Faculty members will be there to help facilitate discussion . All students are encouraged to come and share their perspectives and understandings upon viewing the film.
