Description

Africa Night is a celebration of African culture, music, food, and clothing. This year, it will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, April 11, 2014 in Gustavus Adolphus College's Alumni Hall, located in O.J. Johnson Student Union. The event is free and open to the public.

Africa Night is an annual event that is sponsored by the Pan-Afrikan Student Organization (PASO). PASO is a Gustavus student-led organization that is dedicated to embracing and celebrating African culture by using events as an outlet to educate the community.

The event will include dance and musical performances from various regions of the continent, including Cameroon, Senegal, Nigeria, and more. Food will be prepared with influences from various regions of Africa including Morocco, Ethiopia, and Somalia. Along with fine arts and cuisine, there will be a fashion show, skits, and dances performed by our very own Gustavus students. Don't miss it!
