Act! Speak! Build! Week: "Creating Space With a Hammer and a Heart" with Neal HagbergApril 18, 2013 at 7–8:30 p.m.

Neal Hagberg, award winning singer/songwriter (2 McKnight Fellowships) and Director of Tennis & Life Camps at Gustavus, will be leading a workshop using his songs as the entry point for dialogue. The question he will explore is, "How do we make space for others?" Join us in exploring what creating space means to you and who deserves it in this world.

ABOUT ACT! SPEAK! BUILD! WEEK:
Act! Speak! Build! Week goes beyond the build site as volunteers advocate for decent, affordable shelter by engaging elected officials and their community to eradicate poverty housing. Building alone cannot provide shelter for the 1.6 billion people who currently live in poverty housing. Act! Speak! Build! Week serves to educate others by expanding the scope of Habitat's mission from raising a hammer and raising funds to include raising your voice.
