Description

Two years after its first edition, the Gustavus Hispanic Film Festival is back! All six screenings are free and open to the public, and will take place at Wallenberg Auditorium on Mondays at 7pm. See attached flyer for dates and more information, and tell everyone you see, both on and off campus!

For our first week, we are screening Paraguayan thriller 7 cajas/7 Boxes (Juan Carlos Maneglia & Tana Sch??mbori, 2012). V??ctor, a porter working in Asunci??n's Market Four, receives a mysterious proposal: to deliver seven boxes of unknown contents"they must arrive intact to destination. If he manages to do it, he will receive a good sum of money... But nothing is that simple at Market Four. More info at the Spanish Film Club website.

The screening will be introduced by Professor Carlos Mej??a Su??rez (MLLC/Spanish). After the film, all guests are invited to stay for a discussion with Professor Suzanne Wilson (Soc-Anthro). There'll be popcorn as well!
