Meet Notes - Gustavus begins its season by knocking off defending conference champion Carleton 141.5-101.5. First-year swimmer Andrea Kleven made an immediate impact for the Gusties as she shattered the pool and school records in the 200 IM with a time of 2:12.79. She also won the100 backstroke and was a part of the second place 200 free relay. Another first-year, Emily King, captured the 100 fly and was a member of the winning 400 medley relay. Angela Soucek swept the diving events for Carleton, but Gustavus won seven of the 13 events to claim the dual meet victory
