Gustavus first-year Jimmy Abdo was named the MIAC Rookie of the Year and was joined by two teammates on the All-MIAC list when the conference announced its 2024-25 Men's Golf Awards on Monday, May 12. Junior Chris Gutuza (second) and senior Teddy Kaste (t-sixth) achieved All-Conference distinction by placing in the top 10 at the MIAC Championship held Oct. 5-7. The NCAA announced the 64-team field for the 2025 Division III Baseball Championship and Gustavus has been selected to host a four-team regional Friday through Sunday at the Gustie Baseball Field. Gustavus (36-7), who earned an automatic qualifier as winners of the MIAC, will face Beloit (30-14) in the first game, who won the Midwest Conference. UW-Oshkosh (31-13) and the University of Chicago (26-14) will square off in game two, who both earned at-large berths. Gustavus men's tennis concluded its team season Sunday with a 4-0 loss to the University of Chicago in the NCAA region championship match.
