Where is your hometown?: Lino Lakes, MN
Tell me about your family (siblings, are any of your family members current/previous Gusties?): Both my mom and dad were Gusties and my brother is a current senior at Gustavus.
Tell me about your experiences so far at Gustavus: Gustavus has been an awesome community of friends and family. I've had the opportunity to be involved in a lot of amazing organizations and activities on campus and have gotten to know a lot of incredible people.
What volunteering or community service have you done in and/or out of college?: Not a whole lot - but I used to do some volunteering at my local church in my hometown, and occasionally volunteer with EAC.
What other extracurricular activities, clubs, or organizations are you a part of?: Currently working on starting a business in my free time, GWS (band), Vice President of the Gustavus Sauna Society, and VĂ¥ga - the Gustavus Entrepreneurship Club. (I used to be involved with the Investment club and nordic ski club).
How have these activities changed your time at Gustavus?: I have met a lot of amazing people, found supportive communities, and found things that I never knew I was passionate about!
Have you been a part of any movements that work for social justice or change? What are you passionate about?: I have been involved in EAC (the environmental action coalition). I am passionate about environmentalism and fighting climate change.

Tell me about any high school athletic and academic achievements or awards that you have earned: None really - but was involved in the National Honors Society.
Why did you choose Gustavus?: I found my place in the community here. I liked the college town atmosphere and I wanted a place with small class sizes and a liberal arts experience.
In your opinion what makes the Gustavus cross country/track and field programs different from other colleges?: Our program feels close and connected. We have an opportunity to perform our best, and feel supported no matter our abilities and skill levels. In the Gustavus programs, we all want to see each other succeed. We are a supportive community and we do our best to help everyone achieve more.
