What events are you in? Are you in both cross country and track and field?: I run the 400m and 200m.
Where did you go to high school?: Highland Park High School
Where is your hometown?: St. Paul, MN
Tell me about your family (siblings, are any of your family members current/previous Gusties?): Both my mom and dad are teachers, with my dad also being a football coach. I have an older sister who just graduated from college and a younger sister who plays soccer at Highland. I am the first to attend Gustavus out of my family.
Tell me about your experiences so far at Gustavus: My experience has been amazing.
What volunteering or community service have you done in and/or out of college?: I have volunteered at the Johnny Knuckles Movement back in St. Paul.
What other extracurricular activities, clubs, or organizations are you a part of?: I'm in football.
How have these activities changed your time at Gustavus?: These activities have made it easier to call Gustavus home. I was able to meet great people that come from different backgrounds, all coming together to achieve one goal as a team.
Have you been a part of any movements that work for social justice or change? What are you passionate about?: I have been a part of, as well as, am passionate about the Black Lives Matter movement in St. Paul and Minneapolis.

Tell me about any high school athletic and academic achievements or awards that you have earned: I was a finalist for the Winfield Award in St. Paul. I was all-conference in both football and track. I was a part of the National Honors Society as well as the honor roll.
Tell me about your college academic and athletic achievements that you have earned . (Captain, All-American, all-conference, academic all-conference, etc, and include year): I was a finalist for the Winfield Award in St. Paul. I was all-conference in both football and track. I was a part of the National Honors Society as well as the honor roll. I also received excellence in dance.
Why did you choose Gustavus?: They allowed for me to continue playing the sports I love in football and track, as well as providing a great education. I knew that eventually Gustavus would be a place that I would call home.
In your opinion what makes the Gustavus cross country/track and field programs different from other colleges?: The team makes you feel right at home. Everyone is friendly and cares about the effort you put into the sport as well as in the classroom. This team is filled with great people that have bright futures ahead of them. The Gustavus track and field team helps build character and trust on top of growing as an athlete. Gustavus is a family that needs everyone on board to achieve our goals as a team and we know how to push each other to get there.
