2015-16 SEASON: Played in all 25 games… Registered a goal and five assists for six points in his sophomore campaign… Scored one powerplay goal and added 50 shots on goal.

2014-15 SEASON: Appeared in 23 games as a freshman… Led Gustie defenseman in scoring with 14 points from five goals and nine assists… Second on the team with three powerplay goals… Finished second in conference scoring among MIAC freshman defenseman.

JUNIORS/HIGH SCHOOL: Played two years of junior hockey in the North American Hockey League. Began his career with the Kenai River Brown Bears in 2012-13 where he earned NAHL All-Rookie Second Team honors. In 2013-14 Bushey spent time with Kenai River, and then played four games with the Dubuque Fighting Saints of the United States Hockey League. He finished the season helping the Fairbanks Ice Dogs to a NAHL League Championship. In 108 career NAHL games, Bushey recorded 40 points with nine goals and 31 assists.

A 2012 graduate of Duluth Marshall School, Bushey was a three-year letterwinner. His senior year, Bushey was the Hilltoppers’ top scoring defender and helped guide them to the state tournament… All-Conference award winner and also lettered in golf, soccer and tennis.
