Jack Henderson

Football was Jack Henderson's game, and all-America recognition in both his junior and senior seasons attests to his prowess. Jack, a Virginia, Minnesota native, was a defensive end on the 1952 co-championship team for Coach Lloyd Hollingsworth, a center and defensive end for the '53 co-champions, and a center on two outright champions in '54 and '55. He was an all-MIAC selection in his final two seasons and won the coveted Paulson Trophy in his senior year as the squad's MVP.
After graduating from Gustavus with a B.S. degree in business administration, Jack was a self-employed Contractor for 25 years. Since then he has been with Premiere Aggregates of Virginia. He and his wife, Mary Ann, reside in Virginia; two of their daughters are also Gustavus graduates.
