The Gustavus mission states the purpose of a Gustavus education is to develop a passion for lifelong learning.  The Offices of the Provost and Alumni and Parent Engagement are pleased to partner and present a series for lifelong learners titled Gustavus Passion for Lifelong Learning. 

Previous Passion for Lifelong Learning events included: an evening of poetry with Gustavus professor of English and Minnesota poet laureate, Joyce Sutphen; a talk by David Jones ’83 on the 50th anniversary of John F. Kennedy's assassination; and Dr. Kathy Lund Dean, Board of Trustees Distinguished Chair in Leadership and Ethics in Economics and Management, speaking about her research on workplace religious accommodation and discrimination disputes.
