Class of 2003

September 2013

Dear Gustavus Class of 2003,

Greetings!  Our 10 year class reunion is coming up in a few weeks, and I hope to see you there.  Drew Hasty, our class reunion chair, has been very busy planning a fun night.  We’ll meet on Friday, September 27 at Radisson Blu at the Mall of America (the new hotel on the south side) starting at 7:30 p.m.  Please register at this link: and click on “register online now.”  There will be appetizers, desserts, and a short program.  Discounted room rates are also available (use the promo code GUSTIE).  If you’re on Facebook, find the group and more information here:

The alumni office may not have the most current information out there for your classmates, so be sure and share the details with all of the 2003 Gusties you know.

There will also be a get-together for the Class of 2003 the next day on Saturday, September 28 at Gustavus.  Join us at 12 noon for an All Gustie Lunch in the Alumni Tent by the football field and look for the 10-year reunion sign.

Again, don’t forget to register online at:  Just click “Register Online Now.”

The fall brings change for a lot of things.  Just a few weeks ago I accepted a new job and will be leaving the Minnesota State Senate to join Lockridge Grindal Nauen’s Government Relations department.  Our 11-month old son, Owen, is close to making his first few steps and I think is eating us out of house and home.  My good friend Elizabeth Danks Johnson and husband Cal are spending their first few days at home with newborn Adrienne Louise Johnson.  Becca Smith Darrow and husband Tom built a house in Bayport – and soon afterwards decided to join the boating scene with a new slip and boat on the St. Croix.  Life is good.

One of the best things I’m looking forward to is reconnecting with classmates I haven’t seen on Facebook or heard about through friends.  I hope you’ll join us at the 10-year class reunion.

Take care,

Leslie Wilcox Rosedahl
