Class of '95
May 2006

Dear Class of 1995,

It is spring!  We hope this letter finds you well!

Have you been to a house party lately?  Here’s your chance!  August 6th has been designated “Gusties Gather Day” and we’re planning to have parties hosted by local Gusties throughout the U.S.  The idea is to connect with Gusties that live close to you and reminisce about the good old days!  If you’re interested in hosting a party email us at  Especially needed are hosts that live outside of Minnesota.  Let’s make this a Gustavus party to remember!

Now that our 10-year reunion has come and gone, we are considered  “Second Decade Gusties.”  Along with this move up in the ranks, we also need to carry our weight when it comes to donations to the Alumni Fund.  Below is a table that shows giving amounts (both in terms of participation and total dollars).  We would like to see our class participation rise before this fund year (which ends on May 31) runs out!  If you have not given yet this year, please take a minute to go online or call and make your gift.  Giving online is easy―just go to the alumni page on  Or, make your gift my phone by calling:  866-487-3863.  Can’t remember if you’ve given this year?  That’s easy, if you go to, click on “Giving Class Totals” on the left-hand side of the letter, you will see the table below.  If you click on the “1995”, you will see a list of all classmates who have given this year.  Please consider making your gift now so we can get credit for this fund year!  Thank you for your support of the college –you are giving the Gift of Gustavus to future generations of Gusties!

Below are some pictures from the 10-year reunion gathering last fall.  As you can see, we had a great turnout and everyone seemed to have a good time.  As you can also see, everyone looked pretty much the same (the people you don’t recognize are probably spouses or significant others)!

The first picture below is a picture of your Reunion Committee – thanks to everyone who helped us plan the reunion!

If you took pictures on a digital camera and want to forward them to us (, we will keep them until our next reunion!

Have a great summer!  All the best,

Sara Tollefson Currell and Amy Seidel
