30-Year Reunion - October 10, 2009

TO:  The Class of 1979

A representative of our alma-mater, Gustavus Adolphus College, called to inform us that we are celebrating our 30th Anniversary since graduating―which is especially amazing when you consider it really only feels like a decade or two, versus three!!

Make Note:  Our Reunion Is Definitely On October 10, 2009

You will not want to miss our nostalgic return to the ’70s, and some of our traditional activities in St. Peter!!  Do you remember trap shoot at the Nic?  Football games with Keith Bettes, Bill Ingaldson, Bob Dehnke, and Reid Katzung?  The ups and downs of life in the dorms?  Ma Young’s meals?  Greek activities―back when we had sororities and fraternities?  Studying in the library after dinner?  Chapel at 10:00 a.m.?  Or were you getting an early start on a Starbucks habit in the canteen?

This is a once in a life-time event – please join our class celebration October 10, 2009

Did you know?  Our class started the 1979 Class Endowed Scholarship back at our 25th Reunion.  In order to activate an annual scholarship each year for a needy student, we need to raise $12,000 to reach the required $25,000 for it to be fully endowed.  Let’s make this a year to remember Gustavus and make it a record year for class gifts to our class scholarship or to the annual fund!!

Listed below are some of the critical reunion details for you to add to your calendars:
