40-YearReunion

Reunion dates ― October 6 & 7, 2006

A reminder that our big day is Saturday, October 7th, when we gather at Gustavus to celebrate our 40th Year Reunion!  As usual at Homecoming there will be lots of activities to enjoy.  Walk the Linnaeus Arboretum for some peaceful reflections of our good times at Gustavus or cheer on the mighty Gusties at the football game vs. Bethel.  You can register for our class events at gustavus.edu/alumni/homecoming in order to reserve your spot!  Here are the final details again:

Saturday, October 7th

11:00am – 1:00pm          Social Time in the Faculty Lounge of the Jackson Campus Center.  No Cost for this event.  Some may wish to attend the football game that afternoon.

Saturday, October 7th

4:00 p.m.                         Social Hour/Dinner/Light Program at the Shoreland Golf Course.

Cost:  $20/person.  Select your choice of entrees on the registration.

Class Giving:  We're happy to report that 47% of us ’66ers have participated as follows:

1966 Class Giving:                                         $152,260

1966 Class Endowed Scholarship:                $    4,050

1966 Class Future Gift Declarations:           $110,000

Total Gift Celebration for our Reunion:       $266,310

Our goal is to reach $25,000 in our Class Endowed Scholarship and it's not too late to join our class effort.  Please consider a gift in any amount to be added to our class total as a way to say “Thank you” to the school that impacted our lives in so many positive ways and to give the gift of Gustavus to others.  Giving online is as easy as typing in gustavus.edu/giving into your web browser!

Please join us for our big day in October.  It will be so good to see all of you back on campus looking better than ever!
