When turning in a homework problem, mark it with the exercise number shown in bold here. These will be the reference numbers I use in reporting back your standing on the homework.
1.1-28: Submit as a single homework problem exercises 1.1 through 1.28 from pages 37-39.
1.46: Do exercise 1.46 on page 40. The underlying assumption here is that the disk drive has already selected the appropriate read head and moved the arm in or out so as to position the head above the circular track of data that contains the desired data.
