MCS-284 Chapter 7 Homework (Fall 2002)
When turning in a homework problem, if it is one from the book, you
should indicate the exercise number. These will be the reference
numbers I use in reporting back your standing on the homework.
Note: In problems 7.1-7.3, your example programs
should make a large number of memory references. Otherwise it is hard
to see whether the desired kinds of locality are exhibited. The ideal
would be an infinite loop that makes one or more data memory accesses
every time through the loop.
