			<p> A blend of current and former Gustavus tennis players made their mark at the recent 2008 Boston Scientific Aquatennial Plaza Tennis Classic by claiming men's, women's, and mixed doubles titles.  The first title was won by the #2-seed duo of Lauren Hom and Sierra Krebsbach, who defeated Rajasree Hawk and Amy Jamieson 7-6, 4-6, 1-0 (4) in the women's doubles final.  Krebsbach (North Oaks, Minn.) will be a junior at Gustavus this fall, and is a two-time All-American in doubles.</p>

				<p> The Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) recently announced its 2007-08 Winter and Spring Academic All-Conference honorees. The MIAC recognized 387 student-athletes who represented the conference's thirteen institutions. Student-athletes must be a sophomore, junior, or senior with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale to qualify for MIAC Academic All-Conference recognition.</p>

White played in the top spot for the Gusties this season, as the team went 24-9 and finished fifth at the NCAA Team Championships in St. Peter.</p>

				<p> The 16th-ranked Gustavus women's tennis team saw its season come to an end with a hard-fought 5-3 loss to defending national champion Washington and Lee in the quarterfinal round of the NCAA Women's Tennis Championships in St. Peter.  Head coach Heidi Carlson and the Golden Gusties, who lost to Washington and Lee 9-0 earlier in the season, stayed with the top-ranked Generals throughout a match that was nearly five hours long.  Gustavus finished its season at 25-9 overall.</p>

Gustavus improved to 23-8 overall, while UW-Whitewater finished its season at 21-9.</p>
