Dorer (ice hockey), Wittwer (basketball), and Ziegler (swimming) are among a group of 58 student athletes that compete in a winter sport in NCAA Divisions I, II, and III to receive a $7,500 postgraduate scholarship.</p>

Shana Katz scored the eventual game-winning goal at 14:36 in the second period, while Melissa Kunzelman made 28 saves for the Yellowjackets.  UW-Superior, which is on a 15-game winning streak, improved to 23-4-1, as Gustavus finishes its season 25-3-0 for the second consecutive season.</p>

The Gusties will host the University of Wisconsin in Superior on Saturday, March 15 at 2 p.m.</p>

The Gusties, who improve to 25-2-0 on the season, receive an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament as a result of claiming the playoff championship.</p>

				<p> The Gustavus women's hockey team earned a spot in its ninth consecutive MIAC Championship game with a 5-0 win over Hamline at Don Roberts Ice Rink on Saturday afternoon.  The Gusties jumped out to a three-goal lead in the first period and never looked back to earn their fifth shutout in seven games.  Gustavus improved to 24-2-0, while Hamline finished its season at 14-10-3 after falling to the Gusties in the MIAC Semifinal for the second straight season.</p>

Ubl was also named MIAC Player of the Year.</p>
