Permanent? Senior Show 2008 will be on view at the Hillstrom Museum of Art. The exhibition will highlight the student careers of 12 studio art majors of Gustavus Adolphus College and demonstrates the diversity of styles and approaches taken by the artists, some of whom intend to continue studying or working in art after graduation.
On display are works by:
Danny Blacker (Apple Valley),
Stephanie Buresh (Jordan),
Erin Dinsmore (Hammond, Wisc.),
David Goldstein (Plymouth),
Whit Hohman (Roseville),
Natalie Larson (White Bear Lake),
Kasey Lyng (Eden Prairie),
Shawna Mullen (Cambridge),
Zach Newman (Minneapolis),
Kelsey Plucker (Welch),
Nathan Schram (Detroit Lakes),
and Song Thao (St. Paul).

Each artist is represented by her or his artwork and also by a personal statement reflecting the student's artistic goals and aesthetic philosophy. The exhibition was selected from a group of submissions by each artist, and the jurying process was carried out by the art faculty of the College. The installation of the exhibit was executed with assistance from the students, and a number of the works on view are being offered for sale.

A contemporary classic of cutting edge theatre, the witty and fascinating Fefu engages audiences in unexpected (and fun) ways. Set in the 1930s, the evening opens with eight friends, all fascinating women, who have gathered in Fefu's home to plan an educational event. The action soon divides into separate scenes exploring the women's relationships with one another and to the society around them. As spectators, you will be invited to move among several different spaces around the theatre, where you will have intimate access to the frivolity, anguish, mystery and complexity of the women's lives. When the guests regroup at the end of the play, you will realize that the spectators have engaged with the story from different perspectives—responding with different emotions for a truly unique theatrical experience.
