I am involved in the Summer Servant Leadership Program. SSLP has been an invaluable experience for me. The $1,500 stipend allowed me to have the opportunity to work at Camp Okoboji this past summer. Without this, I would not have financially been able to spend my summer serving the Lord in outdoor ministry. When I returned back to school in the fall it was great getting to spend time reflecting on my experiences and talking to others who had spent their summers doing similar activities. Throughout the SSLP sessions I have been able to more clearly define who I am and what I value. I believe that this program will help me in the future as I begin to work on my post-college plans.
