Online registration is not be available during the school year. Parking permits for the 2009-2010 school year are available in the Campus Safety office.
Students may apply for parking permits on a first-come, first-served basis. Due to space constraints, the number of parking permits is limited.
Because the student will be responsible for the vehicle while on campus, we ask that the student (and not the parent) complete the registration process.
For the registration process, students will need their Gustavus-issued e-mail user name and six-digit ID number, along with the vehicle's exact license plate number.
If you complete the online registration, your permit decal will be found in your campus mailbox upon arrival to campus on Orientation Day.
Student on-campus parking permits are $200 and are valid for the entire school year. Permit holders are responsible for their registered vehicles. It is their responsibility to know and obey all parking rules and regulations.
Resident student permit decals are colored red for Resident Student parking. See the campus map
Students should make themselves familiar with all Resident Student parking areas, there will not always be an available space near their residence hall. When viewing the map, click the "permit parking" option.
If a student wishes to have a car at Gustavus but does not obtain an on-campus parking permit they will find limited off-campus parking located on Jefferson Street on the south end of campus. Visitor Parking spaces cannot be used by students at anytime.
