Jane Schuck was appointed as a Visiting Instructor at Gustavus in 2003. She has taught Inclusive Classrooms EDU 389, Social Foundations EDU 230, Secondary Practicum EDU 368, Educational Psychology EDU 330, Reading in the Content Areas EDU 350 and Supervision of Student Teachers EDU 399. She also works with the Kappa Delta Pi Honor Society and as the library liaison for the Education Department. Prior to her appointment, she served 27 years in educational administration at all levels in the K-12 Public Education system and taught in special education and regular education in the K-8 system. She has also served on numerous committees for the state department and regional committees. Jane also does independent consulting work for schools in leadership, school improvement and research-based teaching and learning strategies. Her husband, Mark, teaches at Minnesota State University. She has two married children, Angela and Kelly who are married to Keith and Jeremy respectively.
