BAN Gustavus Adolphus College; MSN Minnesota State University, Mankato
Heidi joined the Gustavus Nursing Program as faculty in February 2008, although she is not new to the campus. As a 1998 Gustavus nursing alum, Heidi is back at Gustavus doing what she hoped of doing as a student back in the mid to late 1990's. After graduating from Gustavus in 1998, Heidi worked in various clinical settings, including Oncology, Med/Surg, Home Health, and Public Health. She returned to Minnesota State University, Mankato to pursue her degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner. After she completed her degree, she began teaching in an ADN program in the Twin Cities and taught there for two years before coming to Gustavus. Heidi currently teaches in the Junior level adult health classes. She recently completed her Certificate in Nursing Education from Bethel University. When not teaching, Heidi enjoys spending her time with her husband and 3 young daughters.
