Health Service and Counseling Center

Heather Dale is a Physician Assistant. During the 2009-2010 academic year Heather will serve as the Director of the Health Service and the Interim Director of the Counseling Center.  Both offices are fortunate to be staffed with exceptional people whose expertise, compassion, and excitement for students overflows into their daily work on campus.  Heather began her tenure at Gustavus in January of 2008 after spending four years in Idaho practicing at an Urgent Care and a Women's Health Clinic.  Heather loves the opportunities the college setting provides to educate and care for students in a very personalized manner.

Heather and her husband Jordan have two sons, a four-year-old named Braxon and a two-year-old named Carter.  A summer highlight was returning to the Sawtooth Mountains of Idaho to visit friends and enjoy the great outdoors.  They like to camp, hike and bike with their boys.  The Dales are excited to begin their second year as Head Residents in Sohre Hall.
