Meeting Minutes for Monday Feb. 18, 2008 Full Meeting

The meeting began with passing around a sign up sheet for event committees for the semester. The events included an Education Minnesota speaker, 80's Prom, and Spring BBQ (Ice Cream Social???). If you were not at the meeting, but would like to be on a committee, please e-mail Bailey ASAP.


We are testing an accountabiliy system this semester for the members. We will be using a ticket system, where you will be given a ticket/tickets for each SEA meeting and event you attend. There will be a bucket/box for tickets to be dropped once you have your name written on the back and they will be collected periodically and a tally kept of how many tickets each member has. Each member will recieve 1 ticket for each meeting they attend, 3 tickets for each event they attend and 5 tickets for being head of a committee. Other involvements will be up to the discretion of the co-presidents. At the end of the semester/year, each member with a predetermined number of tickets will recieve a certificate they can keep in their portfolio. There is a possibility of a raffle at the end of the semester. Watch the front page of the website for a link to complete Member Accountability Information.


There is an IB Training coming up on Saturday, March 5. This is $20 and sign up sheets are in Sandi's office, space is limited so sign up soon. Contact Ashley Gibbs with any questions.


MERGE will be hosting Food and Faculty on March 5 at 6:30pm in Mattson with Little Debbies with Deb, be sure to attend.
