Mission Statement:

Started in the spring of 1999, the Newman Center is a student group dedicated to building a deeper understanding of the Catholic faith. It is a place where students of all denominations are welcome to join in faith sharing and discussion of religious issues, both within and beyond the Catholic Church. Activities and services of the group include campus-wide masses and prayer services, involvement in the St. Peter community, and various fellowship and faith sharing events.

Rides to Mass: We meet at Three Flags on Sundays at 9:45 am for a ride to 10:00 am Mass at the Church of Saint Peter.

Brunch after Mass: We usually eat brunch together at the caf after the 10:00 am mass. This is a great way to get to know each other!

30 Minutes: We meet once a week at 8:00 pm in Beck for 30 minutes of Bible study, prayer and fellowship. We usually read and meditate on the scripture passages for the coming Sunday mass and discuss our thoughts and questions. Occasionally, we will watch a video on a Christian topic of interest. All are welcome.
