WHAT IS GOE?

GOE is a cooperative, common adventurer program open to all Gustavus students, faculty, and staff. All trip members share in the cost and responsibilites of the trip in order to increase the learning and enjoyment of being involved as well as reduce the expenses.

The variety and length of trips is determined by the interest of those involved and include weekday afternoon outings near campus, full day weekend adventures, and longer trips during breaks.

HOW DOES A TRIP HAPPEN?

Trips start with an idea and an initiator. Anyone can initiate a trip. You don't need to be a guide, leader, or have any special expertise. All you need are ideas and initiative. Email Hallie , Shawn ,or Brian with your ideas and the details of when/ where, and if there's enough group interest, we will set up a pre-trip meeting. There we'll iron out any necessary details...Then it is on to the rocks, rivers, and trails!
