APO Minutes - October 16th, 2000
I know that midterms may have you down
Papers and tests out the ears makes your face frown
But you are part of the coolest fraternity in the land
So smile, deep breath, fall break will be grand!
Next Monday is optional, but you will get 1 hour of fellowship for
attending- so come!
Oct 30 meeting in Lund
Yeah pledges- have an eboard. They will be interviewing us, so get ready
to answer questions and get to know the pledges better- they are cute-
maybe a date will come of it??
HEY HEY HEY- if you pledged last spring, see Kat Medbery (the cute one) to
get your certificate and card- then you can feel really important.
DO you need signs? I know you do. An email- apopr@gac.edu will be set up,
there will also be forms on the APO door so that you can give the PR
committee specifics for signs. Their meeting time is Thursday, so get
requests in before then- THANKS!

***CD SALE- Oct 25- Nov 2 sign up
***Oct 26- Halloween with little partners 6-8pm in the DIVE
***Oct 27- Scare people in the Arb to help the PA Haunted walk- chain saws recommended !! 10:30-12:00 with hot chocolate to follow
***Oct 28- APO party 3-5:00
***Oct31- Trick or treating for canned goods 6:30 at flagpoles
*** Oct 31- Fall Festival 6-8pm
***National Service Week Nov 6-12
Tues 7th- Relaxation night for leaders on campus
Wed 8th Babysit for profs
Thurs 9th Study break
Sat 11th Kids Fest------------ need leadership to set up and head it
*** Nov 11th- raking for GIVE families with Comm Service Center
We also need leadership for snow shoveling in the winter- which is coming soon.
SO be ready to party it up around Halloween- it will be a scary good time my friends.

Michael Johnson, the singer, song-writer, storyteller, and guitarist who has delighted audiences at Gustavus Adolphus College annually for forty years, will return to Bjorling Recital Hall for a 40th Anniversary Concert Celebration at 8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 12.
The Gustavus women's basketball team used a 17-0 run at the start of the second half to pull away from Carleton and post a 24-point win over the Knights, 77-53 in St. Peter. The Gusties, who improved to 3-0 overall and 1-0 in the MIAC, were led by Katie Layman with 19 points and 9 rebounds. Coach Mickey Haller's squad will remain home and host Concordia-Moorhead on Saturday at 1:00 pm.
