Gustavus Adolphus College Unveils
New Logo, Marketing Launch March 27

ST. PETER, Minn. (March 22, 2002) Gustavus Adolphus College will celebrate its distinctiveness at 11:30 a.m. March 27 in the Evelyn Young Dining Room of the C. Charles Jackson Campus Center at the "Brand Me G-U-S-T-I-E-S" marketing launch. At the event, President Axel Steuer will unveil the new Gustavus visual identity system or logo. Key messages and a tagline recently developed by the college's Integrated Marketing Committee will also be showcased.

As part of the new marketing initiatives, between April 1 and 28, a 30-second, student-recruitment commercial will air 120 times in the greater Twin Cities metropolitan area on ESPN, the Animal Planet, The Learning Channel, and MSNBC. The commercial will be shown during the "Brand Me G-U-S-T-I-E-S" event, which is free and open to the public.

Materials, including key message flyers, Gustavus tattoos, Three Crowns cookies, and a T-shirt raffle will be available from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. For more information, contact Associate Vice President for Marketing and Public Relations Susan Andrews at sandrew2@gustavus.edu.
