Description
The Gustavus Library Associates present Arvonne Fraser, author of "She's No Lady: Politics, Family, and International Feminism," as speaker for Spring Author Day 2008.
"'She's No Lady' is the spirited memoir of a Minnesota farm girl who became founding mother of the worldwide women's movement. Fraser recounts her Depression-era upbringing, the early days of the DFL Party and her career in government and in the non-profit sector."
The morning with Fraser includes brunch, an inspirational address, and a book signing.
