Renewable Energy Comes Home – James Dontje, Director of the Johnson Center for Environmental Innovation, Gustavus Adolphus College

Explore how to green your home and save money! We will examine how energy-saving changes combined with renewable energy sources like solar hot water, space heating, photovoltaics, biomass, and even small wind power can reduce the energy “footprint” of your home.

Jeff Jeremiason, Environmental Studies and Chuck Niederriter, Physics will also be in attendance with briefings on the Energy Challenge. Compact fluorescent light bulbs will be available for desk lamps in the offices.
