Tree identification classes led by Cindy Johnson-Groh, Executive Director of Linnaeus Arboretum, will help you learn to identify the common trees in southern Minnesota. No prior experience with plant identification is necessary. You can sign up for both classes at a discounted rate ($25) or individually ($15 / class). Each class will meet in the Linnaeus Arboretum. Participants should dress to be outside. The first tree identification class on Saturday, May 17 is about conifers. The second class on Saturday, May 24 is about deciduous trees.
