Description

In May of 2007, international media headlines broadcast the discovery of the lost tomb of King Herod the Great (37-4 BCE) at the palace-fortress of Herodium in Israel. Hear the lead excavator of this important discovery, Ehud Netzer, describe the quest to discover Herod's tomb, the archaeology of the site, and the remarkable burial of one of history's most fascinating figures.
