Description
The Hillstrom Museum of Art presents "questions, comments, concerns: Senior Show 2007," on view May 5- May 27. The exhibition features works in a variety of media by artists Eva Christopherson, Melissa Friebe, Katie Leaf, Brianna Monahan, Abby Pedersen, Sarah Pedersen, Matt Port, Becca Thompson, Matthew Mark Van Dusen, Toua Vang, and Leah Wynveen. Each artist is represented by her or his artwork and also by a personal statement reflecting the artist's aesthetic philosophy and artistic goals. The exhibition was selected from a group of sunmissions by each artists, and the jurying process was carried out by the art faculty of the College. A number of the works are being offered for sale by the individual artists. The Hillstrom Museum of Art is located in the lower level of C. Charles Jackson Campus Center. Free parking for visitors is available in nearby lots. Regular museum hours are weekdays 9 a.m.- 4 p.m. and weekends 1-5 p.m. The exhibion is free and open to the public; all are welcome.
