Gustavus Adolphus College senior Rachel Roberg (Rice Lake, Wis.) has been named the MIAC Women’s Golf Athlete of the Week by the league coaches. Roberg shot 80-80 to finish in fourth place at the Wartburg Invitational at Centennial Golf Course, site of the 2008 NCAA Women’s Golf Championships, in Waverly, Iowa on Sunday. Roberg and the Gusties won the tournament with a two-day total of 329-319—648, which was 18 strokes ahead of second-place finisher Illinois Wesleyan.
