College Relations Office Unveils New Blog

Wednesday, January 2, 2008 (34 weeks ago)

The Office of College Relations at Gustavus Adolphus College would like to introduce a new blog to the Gustavus community and beyond. Authored by College Relations staff members, this new blog will offer commentary and news on a variety of topics pertinent to the campus community as well as some photography, video, and audio content.

During the month of January, staff members will publish two specific features. Director of Design Services Sharon Stevenson will blog from overseas as she shadows the Gustavus Symphony Orchestra on its tour of China. Back in St. Peter, Media Relations Manager Matt Thomas will sit in on several January Interim Experience classes and will blog about the unique educational opportunities available to students during the month of January.

The new blog can be read at collegerelations.blog.gustavus.edu.

Gustavus Adolphus College is a private liberal arts college in St. Peter, Minn., that prepares 2,600 undergraduates for lives of leadership, service, and lifelong learning. The oldest Lutheran college in Minnesota, Gustavus was founded in 1862 by Swedish immigrants and named for Swedish King Gustav II Adolf. At Gustavus, students receive personal attention in small-sized classes and engage in collaborative research with their professors. Fully accredited and known for its strong science, writing, music, athletics, study-abroad, and service-learning programs, Gustavus hosts a chapter of Phi Beta Kappa and is internationally recognized for its annual Nobel Conference®.
