Faculty Development Day, August 27th
Do your students work too hard in your classes? Project leaders from Wabash College will present in-depth results of the study in a workshop format, allowing faculty to work on a particular course or course component that addresses study findings. Join us for Faculty Development Day on Wednesday August 27 from 8:45 a.m. through lunch.

New Faculty Orientation Session - Sept 11th
Please join all new faculty colleagues for lunch on Thursday, Sept. 11th to talk over the first week of classes; bring your questions. Special guests will include library faculty to provide information about how to develop the collection in your area of expertise; how to reserve library instruction sessions; the nuts and bolts of the library (e-reserves, book ordering, scheduling); and the ways the library collaborates with classroom faculty to help our students develop sophisticated research skills.

Teachers Talking Fall 2008
Join Provost Morton on September 17 and 18 for a conversation about academic issues and trends in higher education today. In order to allow as many faculty as possible to attend, we have two separate times: Wednesday, September 17 from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. (wine and appetizers) and Thursday, September 18 from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. for lunch.

New Faculty, please note the following events: 1) Monday, August 25th - Tenure Track new faculty will attend an informational luncheon/meeting from noon to 3:00 p.m. in the St. Peter Room, Campus Center. 2) New Faculty Orientation Day, Tuesday, August 26 from 8:45 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. in the Heritage Room, Campus Center. All new faculty are expected to attend.
