Teachers Talking
Teachers Talking is on Thursday, March 9th. Come at 11:30 or 12:30 to choose your lunch from the banquet and join colleaques for a stimulating conversation. This month we will be discussing Chapter 3 of Shakespeare, Einstein, and the Bottom Line. Books are still available, please email cblaukat if you would like a copy.
New Faculty Orientation Session
The monthly Orientaion Session for new faculty will be held on Thursday, March 2nd from 9:00 a.m. to 9:50 a.m. in the Linner Lounge. Topic: John Cha on International Education.
New Faculty Retreat
Please join your new (first- and second-year) colleagues for a well-deserved retreat, Friday evening into Saturday afternoon, April 28-29, at Shalom Hill Farm retreat center near Windom (about 90 minutes west of St. Peter). We'll leave from campus at 5:00 p.m. on Friday and return by about 3:00 on Saturday. Grant Program Application Due Dates
Faculty Travel Funds ~ Send Applications In Now!
As you know, the fiscal year ends May 31st. If you are planning any travel between now and then, please submit your application for Faculty Travel Funds as soon as possible. You can find a copy of the application on the Faculty Development website. This will help us to determine if we will have any funds remaining at the end of the year, which may be made available to you for travel. Thank you!

National Symposium "The Millennial Student"
The Faculty Resource Network is pleased to announce a Call for Proposals for the seventh annual National Symposium taking place on November 17-18, 2006 in San Juan, Puerto Rico. The 2006 symposium will focus on "The Millennial Student" and is being hosted by University of the Sacred Heart and the University of Puerto Rico, Rio Piedras.
