Did you know?

The Olin observatory has a computer-controlled, 14-inch Celestron telescope. The computer has a memory of many thousands of star locations, taking into account time of day and time of year. The observer simply keys in the star(s) to be viewed and the computer telescope finds it automatically. The rotating dome and the opening of the dome are motorized as well. The telescope also has photographic capabilities.

Football Looks To Return To Top Four In MIAC Standings In 2008

The 2008 Gustavus Adolphus College football team looks to move back into its traditional spot among the top four in the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference standings after finishing in a tie for fifth a year ago with a league mark of 3-5. Head Coach Jay Schoenebeck will rely on a veteran defense early in the season, while the offense looks to fill big holes at the quarterback and running back positions.
