Tim D. White is a professor of integrative biology and co-director of the laboratory of Human Evolutionary Studies at the University of California, Berkeley. Since 1991 he has co-directed a research project in Ethiopia that has acquired new data on early hominid skeletal biology, environmental context, and behavior and pushed back the record of human evolution over 2 million years.
