The Womyn's Awareness Center

The Womyn's Awareness Center is a designated safe place for womyn and men interested in womyn's issues to think, discuss, argue, laugh, and freely be themselves. It also serves as a resource center for feminist, reproductive rights, justice, queer, and various other issues. This year we have discussed such issues as pornography, constructive controversial conversations, reproductive rights, feminist politics, safe sexuality and health options on campus. The WAC also organizes events for Women's History Month, International Women's Day Banquet, Celebration of Womyn, along with sponsoring speakers and organizing various activist activities throughout the year. Interested, womyn-centered students are always invited to use the resource center and join the meetings, held every Thursday night at 9pm.
