8th Annual Gustavus Internship Fair Wednesday, March 5, 2007 11:00-1:30 Banquet Rooms Meet with over 20 organizations hiring for summer, interim career explorations, and semester internships. Many local and non-profit organizations represented. Casual dress accepted. Resumes recommended but not required. Contact Brian Koeneman for details.

MN Private College Job & Internship Fair, February 19-20, 2008 Minneapolis Convention Center. Pre-registration meetings start November. To complete registration candidates must update profile on G-Net, upload resume to G-Net, and complete and pay fee registration form to the career center by January 26, 2008. Nearly 200 employers in attendance recruiting college students for job & internship opportunities in business, industry, human services, and non-profit organizations.

Location: University of Minnesota, Coffman Memorial Union
Schedule: 45 minute workshops begin at 11:00am and end at 3:00pm (15 minute breaks)
The actual Idealist.org Fair takes place from 12:00-4:00

Pathways to BioScience Careers, March 13, 2008 U of MN St. Paul Information sessions, panelists, and networking opportunities for undergraduates students from all MN private colleges.

Health Professions Fair Thursday, March 13, 2008 11:30-2:30 Jackson Student Center, Heritage & St. Peter Rooms, Gustavus Adolphus College. Learn about health care careers, what you can do with your major in science, health, or social science areas? Contact Career Center Health Professions Coordinator, Jeff Stocco for list of exhibitors.

MN Education Fair, Minneapolis Convention Center April 14, 2008 Eligible participants must be certified to teach on or before Fall 2008, and must pre-register. This is a one-day event with opportunities to visit with school district representatives, interview and attend district information sessions. Education services (social work, speech pathologists, etc.) candidates must also register to attend. Approximately 100 school districts from across the United States will attend. The list of employers registered is at: www.mcucsa.org/mnedfair. About 1600 candidates are expected to attend. Gustavus seniors and alumni must register through the Career Center.
